Guide to Anal Sex

Share the Love

If you feel comfortable and are interested in including anal sex into your bedroom there are a few tips that we would like to share with you.

Guide to Anal SexThe key to anal play is to take it slow, be patient and lube.

Anal play can be very enjoyable for both men and women.  For men their prostate can be stimulated through the bum and for the female their cul-de-sac (the sensitive area on the lower wall of the vagina) is stimulated during anal sex.

First thing to do is make sure it’s all clean and ready to go.  You may want to use an anal douche which is a device that you fill with water and then squirt the water into your bum, it is a very easy process and this will make sure you are squeaky clean.

Attempting anal penetration before you are properly aroused can be unpleasant, so allow yourself to relax in order to enjoy the experience.  Finger play is a great way to relax the anus. Using some lubricant and/or desensitizing cream on your little finger to massage the area is a great way to start.

The anus and rectum do not have an automatic lubricating system like the vagina, so use plenty of lube to reduce friction and increase the pleasure.

Start small – Try a small dildo, butt plug or anal beads.  Don’t try to go too big to fast.  Anal training kits are ideal for the beginner as they come in a range of sizes from small, medium and large.

Anal play is a slow process, you have to work your way up to different size toys and eventually your partner’s penis.  Don’t be too concerned if you are not ready for his penis the first few attempts with anal sex.  You both have to be patient, there is no right amount of time for when you are ready to go to the next step.

Relax and breathe – This will help your muscles relax, tight muscles will make for a very uncomfortable experience and one you won’t want to explore again too quickly.

Lubricant – I can not stress how important this is.  If you do not use any lube or enough lube the first time, there may not be a second time so lube up.  There is a full range of thick, specialized lubes available for anal sex.  They are specially formulated with soothing ingredients that make anal play even more enjoyable.  Also available are desensitizing creams that slightly numb the bum for easy insertion.

Never feel pressured in continuing if you are no longer comfortable with anal sex.  Not everyone finds it sexually arousing or pleasing.

After the fun make sure you clean up any toys with anti-bacterial toy cleaner, maybe share a shower with your lover and wash each other bodies. This can add yet another level of intimacy with your partner.

Reaching orgasm through anal stimulation is incredibly arousing thanks to the area’s high concentration of nerve endings,  so allow yourself to enter a new world of backdoor bliss…the possibilities for pleasure are endless!
