Trending recently was this wonderful new sex position 77 and apparently it was going to give the good old-fashioned position 69 a run for its money. This had me intrigued, as any apparent ‘new’ sexual position would do.
I think we can all agree that the majority of us know the 69 positions and would have tried on a few occasions the wonders of a 69. Whilst others may not be too fused on giving it a go or prefer their own mix on it. But just in case there are a few that are not aware what a 69 is lets take a fun look at what all the fuss is about.
Firstly have a look at the numbers and the position the numbers are in, pretty interesting already now think of it as two bodies meshing into one another. Starting to look and feel quite sexy even just for a couple of numbers.
The positioning is a little different than face to face it’s face to genitals. Penis to vagina – vagina to vagina – penis to penis it all depends of your sexuality and the sex of your lover.
69 have obviously been performed for many years with great success for most and you can mix it up in many different ways. You can change who is on top and who is on bottom, do it sideways, upside down, back to front, what-ever and which-ever floats your boat.
It’s all about giving and receiving oral sex from partner to partner at the same time. Now being a major fan of giving and receiving oral sex I can say this is pretty high on my sexual positions favourite list and is used a lot during foreplay and sometimes it can be the only play, it can all depend on how good it is and how you’re feeling at the time. Now let’s look into the apparent rival to the 69.
Position 77 is trying to take over the top number so we thought we would do some ‘research’ and see what is the most preferred position is and why.

As per the 69 numbers = the look of the position so does 77 = the body shape.
The first major difference is that it’s not oral sex related, so straight away I don’t see the comparison with a 69er. But lets continue to see why it is ‘trending’.
77 is a penetration position which can still be achieved male-female/ girl-girl (with strap-on)/male-male. You and your partner both lay on your side in the same direction. Once the partner is behind the other the front partner raise the outer leg and wraps it around the top of the back partners leg.
At this time what you could call in this position the more dominant partner at the back would then penetrate the front partner who could be called the more submissive. Once penetration has occurred you then both need to bend at the waist and push your legs outwards making a V type shape.
For females this position is especially enjoyable as it can assist in stimulating the G-Spot, which increases orgasms. For men it can assist in stimulating the prostate the P-Spot again increasing orgasm.
