Let’s talk about… Kegel Exercisers

So what are Kegel Exercisers and why are so many people talking about them!?  Let’s first call it something that we all know; Pelvic Floor exercises.  This is when you repeatedly contract and relax the muscles in your pelvic floor, which are commonly known as Kegel Muscles.

Kegel1Why exercise these muscles?  Firstly, to keep any muscle strong and healthy you need to exercise it.  The Kegel Muscles are important because they are ever so valuable when it comes to the pleasures of sex.  Contract and release your muscles whilst your partner is inside you…he will love it and so will you.

Unfortunately, these muscles can suffer even if we exercise on a regular basis.  One of the main culprits is child birth, as this can cause urinary incontinence.  So what are we to do?
