I recently meet up with a friend that I hadn\u2019t seen for quite some time and she asked me what am I doing now. When I told her she became shy, even though she has always known me \"first-time-buying\"<\/a>as being a very openly sexual person.<\/p>\n

She told me that she had taken her 18-year-old daughter to a sex shop<\/span><\/a><\/span> as she wanted to purchase something for her and said the experience was one of embarrassment and unfamiliar territory.<\/p>\n

I asked what she meant by unfamiliar territory and she informed me that she has never bought or \"sex<\/a>used any sex toys before and is only no looking at doing so for her daughter.<\/p>\n

I was a little surprised that at 40 years old she had never experienced the joys of sex toys and also exploring her own body to find what she likes and doesn\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t buy anything from the sex shop and they started to look online as they felt less daunted of the prospect that the \u201cperverts\u201d (her words) in the shop wouldn\u2019t follow her and her daughter outside.<\/p>\n

Whilst online window-shopping she realised that as she has recently become single that she \"online<\/a>should look at buying something for herself. But being new to it she really didn\u2019t know what to look for.<\/p>\n

She has now looked at our site and has informed me that she feels so much more confident about taking the first steps into adult toys.<\/p>\n

As I have known the joys of toys whilst being a single woman to also including them with a partner I have always understood that there are woman that have not been interested in toys. This is of course personal choice.<\/p>\n

But I believe that you have to try something before you decide that it\u2019s not for you. But from personal experience once you try you will find your new best friend.<\/p>\n

This is exactly what has happened with my friend. She has purchased a few items and she has told me that she wished that she had thought about doing it years ago as she is now experiencing a whole new sexual world.<\/p>\n

This is part of what adult toys can do for you. They can liberate you from yourself and teach you things about your body that you didn\u2019t know existed.<\/p>\n

And isn\u2019t that something that we all want and need!<\/p>\n
