Don\u2019t let the title mislead you, I\u2019m not completely dependent on \"Suitcases\"<\/a>having a firm vibe buzzing along busily my whole day. I am, however, the kind of woman who misses the comforts and buzzy, wonderful joys of home when I\u2019m travelling. If I could take my entire toy box with me I would, but I have to admit that it can be a bit awkward packing a bundle of toys for travel. So here\u2019s just a small glimpse at the things I\u2019ve learnt while travelling with sex toys, to help out those fellow travelers who need a naughty fix!<\/p>\n

Firstly, a USB charged toy is surprisingly versatile and can go with you no matter where you are. One of my favourite new additions to my collection is the Womanizer as it comes in a travel friendly case (I wrote about how amazing this clitoral stimulator feels here<\/a>). The case is one of those firm ones that can\u2019t be squashed easily and looks just like a camera case, so I am not at all embarrassed about it being on show if I have to open up my suitcase in front of strangers. Other vibes will naturally do the trick too, but if you can swap the size for a vibe full of functions instead then you\u2019re going to have a lot more \"NuSensuellePoint\"<\/a>room in your suitcase for other essentials. For example, you could swap your larger rabbit vibe for a vibrating egg or something like the Nu Sensuelle Point 20 function vibe<\/a>, as it packs a lot of power into a vibe and has fantastic vibration patterns but it is small enough to travel with you in an overnight bag; you could even store it and the charger in a small makeup bag for privacy.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of great points about a USB charged toy. Firstly, the USB cable won\u2019t roll around in your bag like batteries, it won\u2019t arouse suspicion if you have to unpack half of your stuff at the airport while looking for a phone charger, and there\u2019s the added bonus of not having to run around trying to find a replacement set of AAAs every week.<\/p>\n

Secondly, they are damn easy to use and finding a USB port is almost easier than finding a power point these days. \u00a0Most computers and laptops have at least two USB ports that you can use, plus there\u2019s usually one or two hiding around the back of the TV you can use. Then, there\u2019s Power Banks. They\u2019re like carrying a spare battery, but you just plug your USB charger into it and let your vibe power up! They\u2019re brilliant if you\u2019re somewhere without any power, such as camping. Some will hold enough power for 3 or more recharges, and they range from $10 – $150 depending on how advanced you want to go. I found a small $10 one at a local phone shop and bought it on a whim. I now use it far more for my toys than my phone!<\/p>\n

My final piece of advice: snap-lock bags. Use these handy kitchen \"Snaplock\"<\/a>storage baggies to take lube with you. No leaks, no dramas, no regrets. Best of all, there\u2019s no scrubbing dried lubricant out of your favourite t-shirt in a hotel sink!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
