  1. Good tease toy: straightforward and reliable, but buzzy

I've been playing with this for a bit over a week now and have definitely noticed a lot of pros and cons. What drew me to these vibe was:

    - rechargeable. In this area the C1 does not disappoint, though I hate to think what would happen if I wrecked the USB cable, because the pin it attaches to the silicon tip to recharge appears to be nonstandard. You're not using your phone charger to recharge this. There's sadly no indicator for full charge, but 1-2 hours seems to do the job generously and deliver up to 2 hours of play depending on how often you cycle.

    - discreet and non-intimidating aesthetic. In this area, the Ovo C1 actually looks better than the packaging. I ordered the lilac option a bit hesitantly because of the deep glossy purple displayed, but it is in fact a solid-covered if shiny lavender toy. It is sleek and inviting, smooth and easy to handle. It is unmistakably a bullet but relatively modest.

    - straightforward: Easy to cycle through the settings. That is the only purpose of the minus button (to cycle backwards). I found the instructions provided a little confusing as they are extremely minimalistic. To turn it off, hold the + button for about three seconds. Otherwise, cycle as normal with +/-. Given the external use of the vibrator is incredibly easy to cycle onehandedly through the patterns without fuss while continuing to apply the vibe, and provides zero distractions in this regard. A lot of other vibrators are intimidating in their functionality and how to manipulate their buttons; you won't run into this here.

    - multiple cycles and strengths: Lots of different programs here arranged in what I think is a fairly good buildup to cycle back and forth through. A few intense steady vibrations, a few 'tease' vibrations with quick pulses of buzzing at different frequencies, one which alternates between steady and teasing. These feel really good.

    - discreteness: touched upon this above. Noise level is quite satisfactory, you'll get away with this in a closed room no problem. I have used this in phone sex. However, it is SUPER easy to knock the + button and the vibrator lacks a travel lock, and I did in fact take it on holiday with me and the first thing that happened was I accidentally switched it on. There's not much you can do to ameliorate this except completely drain it of juice before travelling and charge while you're there.

I think the vibe serves best as a very good tease toy; the light, fluttering vibrations feel incredibly good on the nipples, labia, and clit. This may be just me, however, but the 'buzziness' (light whirring) doesn't do it for me on its own, without self-stimulation; I found myself wanting to insert the toy to get fuller, more direct stimulation (don't do this withh non-insertables, even though the shape is nice). It has a really good broad end for coverage, which works for and against it. Great for moving along the body and for getting external stimulation, bad for trying to precision strike the clit, especially with those light buzzy vibrations. and I wouldn't recommend it for extended application because of the nature of the vibrations; they're so light and rapid that they start to numb the hand after awhile and can numb the area being applied to. As a tease toy, though, it's incredibly effective, and it's a sexy piece of plastic. Seems like it'd be a very good couples toy for foreplay as well, or work well with something providing firmer stimulation (its size works against it here, but this does make it very easy to manipulate). This may just be personal preference though.

I agree with the description that is quite reliable, and good for newcomers who want something straightforward and intuitive, though I would also recommend the newcomers try something uncomplicated and more precise like the Power Bullets with three functions if they need more intense, deep rumbling stimulation.

Overall a good product with price, rechargeability, streamlined shape, and ease of use huge plus points, but I'd strongly consider the lack of a travel lock and the vibration style if those matter for you when making a purchase, particularly if you're new to toys. If you want deep, intense rumbles this is not for you. Some people might enjoy the steady, almost ticklish flickering though; I know I find it incredibly tantalising, just not enough on its own, particularly because the vibrations (the vibe being rather large) spread to the hand and labia and decrease stimulation after awhile. As a countermeasure for others who find this to be the case, I definitely recommend cycling into the tease modes to get the most out of this solid toy, and treating the first few modes (constant stimulation) as the more intense modes.

But it's an interesting toy, keeps things fresh and interesting, easy to clean and store, and is a nice balance of versatility (for you to play around to find the right rhythms for you) and instinctive, uncomplicated bliss.

Worth the money in my opinion, but I would definitely consider, if you're only going to get one toy, if this will cover all the bases for you. Overall I really liked it and find it well-made and quality. Plug it in briefly when you get it to activate it and have fun!
